Anticoagulant type: Sodium citrate (sodium citrate), at concentrations of 3.2% (0.109 mol/L) or 3.8% (0.129 mol/L). Of this, 3.2% is the standard concentration recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee for Hematology Standardization (ICSH), as it more accurately reflects the body's coagulation status and avoids the impact of a hypertonic environment on platelets and clotting factors.
Anticoagulant mechanism: Sodium citrate binds with calcium ions (Ca²⁺) in the blood to form soluble chelates, inactivating calcium ions and thereby blocking the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin, preventing fibrinogen from forming fibrin, thereby achieving anticoagulant effects.

Precise Ratio: The ratio of anticoagulant volume in the tube to the nominal blood collection volume is 1:9. This ratio is based on clinically validated optimization results: at a 1:9 ratio, PT (prothrombin time) and APTT (activated partial thromboplastin time) were the most stable, providing sufficient anticoagulation without prolonging the result due to sample dilution due to excessive anticoagulant dosage.
Tube body material: Currently, the mainstream product is PET plastic, which is lightweight, drop-resistant, highly transparent, and biosafe. Some high-end products undergo special treatment on the inner surfaces of tube walls, which can reduce platelet activation and further improve sample quality.
Additive form: Sodium citrate is preloaded in liquid form inside the tube and equipped with precise vacuum negative pressure to ensure automatic inhalation of the nominal blood volume during blood collection.
