Gel Clot Activator Blood Collection Tube contains a specially formulated clot activator coated on the inner wall, which accelerates the blood clotting process and significantly reduces waiting time before centrifugation.

In addition, an inert separation gel is positioned at the bottom of the tube.During centrifugation, the gel forms a stable physical barrier between the serum and blood cells, effectively preventing cross-contamination and maintaining sample integrity for extended periods.

Instructions for Use

Collect blood using standard venipuncture procedures and allow the tube to fill to the indicated volume. Immediately after collection, gently invert the tube 5–8 times to ensure proper mixing of the clot activator with the blood sample.

Place the tube upright and allow the blood to clot completely for 20–30 minutes at room temperature. Centrifuge according to laboratory protocols to separate serum from blood cells. The gel barrier formed during centrifugation helps maintain sample integrity and improves testing accuracy.
