Specimen Handling Guidance

- Gently invert 5‑8 times right after blood collection to fully blend blood with clot‑activator coating.

- Allow complete clot formation at room temperature (18‑25℃), normally 15‑30 minutes for healthy patients.

- Centrifuge finished samples for 10 minutes under 1300‑2000 × g. Do NOT re‑centrifuge finished tubes.

- Once gel barrier is formed, serum can stay stable inside primary tube for short‑term storage without aliquot transfer.

- Note: This tube is for serum tests only; it shall NOT be used for coagulation‑related plasma testing.

- Store in cool dry environment, avoid direct sunlight.
