Double-Wing Blood Collection Needle

The double-wing blood collectio needle is a disposable venous puncture device with double-sided leaf-shaped needle handles.
Basic structure: consists of a venipuncture needle tip, biwing needle handle, soft tube, needle base, and tube plug puncture needle. Each side of the needle stalk has a wing-shaped leaf, which is a core feature distinguishing it from single-wing or straight needles.
Common applications: Mainly used in combination with vacuum blood collection tubes; It can also be connected to an infusion set to enable  infusion. The design of the double-wing needle is especially suitable for children, patients with poor vascular conditions, and scenarios requiring long-term stable operation.

Operational stability: The wings on both sides adhere to the skin surface, forming a balanced pair of compressive stresses to keep the needle body's axis highly aligned with the puncture path. This symmetrical layout effectively suppresses the tendency of the needle body to rotate around its own axis, significantly reducing the risk of post-puncture displacement. The dual wings provide operators with a more ample force surface, significantly improving control accuracy during the puncture process.

Paired with the infusion set, this application is a highly valuable extension of the product in clinical practice. After blood collection is completed, the operator does not need to remove the puncture needle. Infusion sets can be directly connected to the needle holder to establish an infusion path at the original puncture site. This operation mode enables one puncture and two operations-meeting the needs of blood sampling and establishing pathways for subsequent treatments, making it especially suitable for emergency and pediatric scenarios, effectively reducing the pain of repeated puncture for patients.
